i had a nice breakfast this morning with david, paul, and ivey.
i wish i could've spent the day with those guys.

seeing everyone at school was wierd today.
i barely had any real conversations.
everything was the same conversation over and over again.
"oh, where are you again?"
"you like it? great."

it was nice to see some people.
i realized today that i wished i was better friends with mike graham and dominick zelek.
i was friends with each of them and always had fun with them.
i guess i never hung out with them because of different socials groups maybe?
that doesn't seem right, but i can't figure out any other reason for it.

there were some random people that i missed a lot for no apparent reason.
i missed eli winderbaum.
i was really excited when i saw him, but i didn't know why.
i was even happier to see maia meirovitch.
i don't know what it is about her.
i was just so happy to see her.

i found that most people didn't change at all.
i can't think of anybody that was really different from the last time i saw them.

i don't know what to say.
some people here just piss me off.
and i don't get that in york.
maybe people are just nicer or more polite or something.
maybe they have more respect, or maybe they just respect me more.
whatever, i think i'm just rambling now.

it was nice to see you all, but now i'm ready to go back to york.
i love being here with dave, paul, sarah, and some of you others, but i miss my york people.
i wanna be back at sheetz eating a late late dinner and scratching off lotto tickets with chris.
i wanna be back hanging out at ali's house
i wanna be back with my 3rd floor girls just hanging out until we pass out.

i feel like york is my real home.
maybe it's just because it's away from my parents.

i think i'm done with this entry for now.
i'm probably gonna edit it and cut it down.
i feel like i was just rambling for most of it.

i really liked jarhead
i particularly enjoyed the way the movie was shot.
i wanted to see it for jake gyllenhaal's performance.
i'm glad i did, he was excellent.
jamie foxx was obviously awesome.
and i thought peter sarsgaard's (garden state) performance was superb too.

i also appreciated that the movie wasn't too political.
that would've bored me.

i feel like i forgot to mention something. . .

i saw jarhead tonight.
alone.
it was a little weird, but going to a movie alone wasn't bad at all.
i actually kinda liked it.

i should see dave and paul tomorrow.
i can't wait.

i am home.
i had an awesome day around nyc with my friends the other day.
i had a fun photoshoot with sarah in coney island yesterday.
i got custom chuck t's and some vintage shirts in st mark's place today.

my parents are pissing me off.
it's weird because they're not doing anything wrong.
it's just like everything little thing they say gets on my nerves.
i'm used to making my decisions and going places without any questions or suggestions.
now i'm home and my parents are on my case about every little insignificant detail.

i want to see you all.
then i want to go back to york.
i want to see ali again.

we hung out again last night.

and again today.

i finally told her how i feel.

i told her i like her.
i'm at least the second person to tell her that this week.
and i told her that she's beautiful.
i'm the first person that has ever told her that.
i don't think i've ever seen her smile so big.

i'm glad i got it off my chest because it would've killed me over the break.
i'm cool with just being friends with her if i have to.

she's in a tough place right now.
she misses her ex, but doesn't want him back.
he cheated on her.
she was devastated.
that was two months ago.

i think i need to show her how sweet i am.
and i would never hurt her.

it's 35 degrees outside.
yesterday i was comfortably out in a t-shirt.
today i wore a big jacket and wool hat.

i was in the ocean a couple days ago.
what happened to that weather?
